2010 is O-V-E-R! Lets re-cap on some great products I was obsessed with!
[Disclaimer: All items mentioned were purchased by me]
• Got 2b Hairspray
This hairspray is the most amazing one I've ever used! I'm not a fan of sticky, hard-as-a-rock, mega hold fixing sprays! I just need a nice light, weightless holding spray that leaves my hair still touchable. This one does that! I guess it's the "cashmere" that's in it! AND, the best part of all; it smells like CANDY! Literally. It's so lovely. Best hairspray ever. Perfect for baby hairs, stray hairs, etc.
• Escada - Taj Sunset
Ok, so yes, I just got this perfume for Christmas, but it's been my absolute favourite and I can't get enough of it!!! I'm a HUGE Escada fan, and I've been collecting this line for years and year. In general, all their fragrances have the same fruity summery scent... and this one has that scent as well; BUT it's a bit more unique!
Mango, nectarine, blood orange, raspberry, pomarose, coconut cream, sandalwood and musk?? Does it get any better than that???????
• Givenchy - Play EDT
So this one came out not too long ago as well. It's a bit older than the Escada fragrance. This scent is very seductive and warm. Top notes include pink peppercorn and orange blossom. It's a very pretty, unique scent. I really enjoy it!
• The Body Shop - Vanilla Body Lotion
I use to use this product way back when! I had forgotten all about it until someone gave it to me as a gift a few months ago! Our love affair rekindled. This body lotion is great! Does what it needs to do, and smells soft and subtle.
• Nailpolish!
[From left to right] Opening Night by Sephora by OPI, Metro Chic by Sephora by OPI, Sparkle-licious by OPI, Vanessa by ZOYA
I realized that although I have 348293489 different colours of polish, I kept reaching for these! Sparkle-licious is fairly new, but the other three, I used over and over and over again! Great colours, especially for the fall/winter.
• L'oréal Lineur Intense Liquid Eyeliner
My previous blog post is a review of this! I am in love with this liquid eyeliner! Simply amazing.
• Lanome Fresh Wear (foundation)
I never was a fan of foundation! I never use to wear liquid foundation... but then I discovered this baby! It's almost like a tinted moisturizer, but more pigmented. The formula is SO light, however coverage is great! When you have it on, it feels like nothing! Keeps the shine away all day too! The only issue with this sucker, is that it costs $45.00. Yeah. But I love it.
• ELF Kabuki Brush
This little kabuki brush is so cute, and works so well. It's extremely soft, and is great for all-over powder. And it's so little, you can take it with you easily. OH, and it was cheap! 5 bucks? Steal!
• Dior High Shine Lipstick (214 Nude Silhouette)
This was a big-time splurge for me! 30 some odd dollars for a lipstick? But it was one of those days... *sigh* Anywho, beside how pricey it was, it was phenomenal! Obviously, as you can tell, it's dunzo! I used it like no tomorrow. It was so creamy and light and the colour was just perfect for me. I loved this stuff!
• MAC blush - Tippy (From the Hello Kitty collection)
All I have to say, is a little goes a long way! This blush is so cute and so perfect when you need a pick-me-up boost of colour! Love it!
• Lancome Face & Eye creams
[left] Anti-Wrinkle - Firming cream
I use this around my eyes at night.
[right] Superior Lifting Cream
I use this all over my face and neck
Great products! I don't use them because I have wrinkles or a sagging skin, but I want to prevent all that, so it's good to start at a young age!
